Music expresses the Heart of Worship...

and Bethany loves to sing.

WHAT YOU MAY EXPECT:

Worship led in such a way as to bring you into the presence of God.

All music typically will be arranged with the following instrumentation:  keyboards (sounds of an acoustic piano, and/or electronic keyboards), drums/percussion, guitars (sounds of acoustic and/or electric guitar), and bass guitar.  Music also will frequently be arranged using additional instruments such as symphonic strings (violin, cello), woodwinds (flute, oboe, saxophone), brass (trumpet, horn, trombone), and synthesized (electronic) sounds.

Song selection will be widely varied.  The characteristics of songs which typically will be selected are as follows (by example).

• Music will regularly and consistently include:
  • Classic and current praise music from well-known worship leaders like Matt Redman, Keith and Kristyn Getty, Chris Tomlin, Don Moen, Paul Baloche, and others.
  • Familiar worship music from contemporary Christian performance groups such as MercyMe, Hillsong, Casting Crowns, Building 429, and others.
• Music will frequently include:
  • Familiar hymns arranged with the instrumentation described above
• Music will occasionally include special music consisting of soloists or a praise choir.
• Music may include instrumental only selections.
• Music will NOT include heavy rock or metal.

We encourage those God has gifted musically to become a part of the Praise Band, Praise Team, or Praise Choir.  Auditions are required.
