Bethany Church Parking Lot
Who: All ages: walkers, runners, and spectators
For the past two years, due to the pandemic, the Open Door Outreach Center has not been able to hold its primary fundraiser, The Julie Run to End Hunger. The needs of the disadvantaged do not stop because of the pandemic and our help is needed, now more than ever. Are you in?
· You can walk or run the outer perimeters of the Bethany Parking lot as many times as you would like (4 laps = 1 K)
· You can be a spectator - bring a folding chair and enjoy the fellowship
· You can be a sponsor for one of the walkers or runners offer a dollar amount for each completed lap. Suggested donation $1/lap based on 4 laps around the parking lot equals 1 kilometer: 1K=$4 or 5K=$20
This is a “NO AWARD” event. Your reward is in doing something “for the least of these...........” Matt.25:44-45. No pre-registration is required. Simply come and Walk The Talk or Run For Fun. All are welcome.
· Walkers/runners are encouraged to get their family and friends to sponsor them by donating to your participation in Walk The Talk
· Congregation members are encouraged to sponsor a walker directly or to make a donation to Walk The Talk through a specially marked pew envelope.
